Monday - We reviewed ohm's law and power calculations (worksheet), then completed a short inquiry virtual lab on Faraday's Law.
Tuesday - We will first complete another worksheet on electricity, then after answering any questions, take our electricity quiz. A full list of concepts covered on the quiz is available here.
Wednesday - What factor matters most in how fast a skateboarder is moving at the bottom of a ramp? What determines how high he will go when he reaches the top of a ramp? We will answer these and explore the concept of energy using the energy skate park virtual lab.
Thursday - We will look at the different forms of energy including potential, kinetic, thermal, chemical, and electrical. Students will look at images on the screen and write the energy conversions that they see onto paper to turn in.
Friday - We will discuss energy transfers and that work is the method through which energy is transferred. We will then watch some examples of work being done with limited distance thus requiring extreme forces. We then completed a sheet of questions on work.
