Atomic Structure

Today, we discussed the makeup of the Universe. Students should now be able to differentiate between the terms molecule, element, and atom. We worked on identifying the atomic mass and atomic number of atoms and reading basic information on a periodic table. Students also received their plickers cards which will be used for basic quizzes at the beginning of classes.
